The participation of public and civil associations in development of municipalities, towns and regions.
We recommend and implement programmes with participation of public in investment planning and decision-making. Let us mention the involvement of public into open space planning, into the preparation of urban areas regeneration, and into preparation of strategic, development, and communication plans (for example wastewater treatment, etc.) and also into preparation of transport constructions and other investments. We organize discussions with public, interactive exhibitions, enquiries, sociological surveys, and we also provide managing of work meetings with citizens. We arrange educational programmes focused on public involvement. These programmes were created to train the public authority workers.
Local sustainable development.
We provide consultation services during the programme preparation. These consultations are aimed at local social-economic development in relation to the environmental protection principles. We elaborate and update development strategies of micro-regions, towns, and regions. We are methodologists in preparation and implementation of community social service plans. We assist during the preparation of local development projects and activities aimed at disadvantaged groups. We cooperate with local partners (public authority, entrepreneurs, and NGOs). This enables to adapt the projects to local conditions.
Regional policy of European Union and regional development of Czech Republic.
We promote the partnership principles and principles of transparent decision-making in regional policy of European Union. We promote consultations and involvement of public and NGOs during Structural funds’ preparation and utilization in Czech Republic. We participate in discussions, which are focused on form of regional policy. We also mediate the information to other NGOs in Czech Republic, and we prepare joint recommendations and procedures. We transmit our experience to other candidate and member states of EU. We support interdisciplinary meetings and the cooperation of NGOs.
Citizenship education.
Not only the willingness and public authority experience, but also the active interest of citizens in public issues is very important during the public involvement. That is why we also implement projects focused on education of youth towards citizenship and democracy principles.
