of the informal Coalition About People with People
Article 1
The aim of the coalition
- The aim of the coalition is a support of democracy decision making at public administration level, support of civic initiatives development at local and regional level, support of intersector cooperation among civic initiatives, non profit organizations and public administration, environmental protection, education and training in these fields.
- The coalition will widen edification about possibilities of public participation into decision making of public administration and it will support a work of non profit organizations. The coalition is based on activities its members acting in V4 countries.
- The coalition will reach its goals by following:
a) analysis of V4 countries experience
b) realization of model project
c) publishing the periodical and non periodical publications and promotion materials
d) organizing of conferences, seminars, forums and traineeships
e) consultancy and information service
f) active appearance in face of statutory and private institutions
g) education and training.
Article 2
Membership
- One organization from each V4 country can become a coalition member, who agrees to accept and be bound by the By-Laws and the goals of the coalition.
- Membership comes into being by receiving of signed registration by a representative of the organization.
- Membership becomes extinct upon own request of the member or on the basis of decision of other coalition members.
Article 3
Discretions and duties
- Every member has the right:
a) to participate in actions held by the coalition
b) to submit stimuli and suggestions to the coalition.
- Every member is obliged to observe the By-Laws of the coalition.
Article 4
Management of property
- Property consists of gifts, grants, contributions and own activities of coalition members.
- In the case that the membership becomes extinct, the member is obliged to repay to the coalition unexpended financial resources which the coalition gained. Unexpected financial resources will be equally divided among other coalition members.
Article 5
Final provision
The coalition becomes extinct upon the decision of majority of coalition members.
